Beautiful blooms at the Toronto Flower Market

The Toronto Flower Market returned to the city this past Saturday, May 10. From beautiful bouquets of locally grown tulips and potted campanulas to mini phalaenopsis and succulents, there was lots to see and buy! With so many beautiful blooms on display, I thought I would share a few of my favourites.

Purple campanulas, also known as the “little bell” flower are not only pretty, but make a wonderful addition to any container garden.

{Mini phalaenopsis, La Primavera Farms}

These gorgeous mini phalaenopsis orchids were so beautiful, I had to pick one up. They make a great indoor plant, perfect for your home or office.

I loved the pretty pinks, oranges and yellows of these cut gerberas. The bright, colourful bouquets make a great gift, or choose all one shade for a unique tabletop centrepiece.

{Succulents, Carl & Rose}

How adorable are these small succulents? With so many unique varieties, they look great on their own, added to a terrarium or in a stone planter.

The market also featured some great floral-inspired items, like a colourful canvas tote and pretty floral prints.

For lots more beautiful blooms, make sure to visit the Toronto Flower Market, open June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13 and October 11 from 10am to 3pm at 1056 Queen Street West (between Ossington and Dovercourt).
