There’s a reason “Pretty in Pink” is the name of both a song and a movie: Pink is pretty, and no little princess, Valentine or fictional fairy will tell you otherwise. Brights are stimulating and softs are sensual, but all pinks are passionate and youthful. When planted, pinks add energy. They come together in a pretty, girly vision when layered, and pair perfectly with blues and greens. And although pink is only just a tint of red, the two colours tend to be flat when left to mingle on their own.
