A few tricks of the trade make it easy to create this stylish arrangement. First, the pale lavender delphiniums are placed in a narrow, cylindrical vase to help them stand upright; the vase is then slipped into the centre of a larger ceramic container. Next, the rose-coloured snapdragons are cut to one length and arranged around the cylinder, which helps hold them in place, and a border of green viburnum stems are then tucked between the two flowers for contrast.
The final trick?
The handsome white container is actually an inexpensive ceramic wastebin!
