Designing the Green Room

Shawn: The garden was laid out from plan, but many of the details, such as the relationship of one material to another and the placement of plants and garden furniture, were worked out in a 'hands on' approach during the installation. This was a painterly approach that allowed for creative opportunities to emerge. Aldona Satterthwaite crafted the planting while I planned the structure of the space. Jeremy Feenstra and his skilled crew from Floris Terra Greenhouse & Landscaping Center helped out in every way.
