Building a retaining wall

It took me 20 years to realize that wherever we lived, the garden was my favourite room in the house. With that in mind we bought our home in 2003 based on the potential of the garden bordered by a ravine. The property provided a blank slate for the imagination. Our first summer we impatiently watched where the sun and shade met, and observed what already was planted.
