This decadent raw chocolate smoothie is made with healthy ingredients and no refined sugars.

Chocolate Easter eggs may be sweet, but they’re definitely sinful – sugary confections will leave you feeling sluggish and moody. Instead, opt for this decadent raw chocolate shake made with healthful ingredients and no refined sugars.


  • 1⁄2 cup low-fat coconut milk
  • 1 cup cold filtered water
  • 1 ripe frozen banana, chopped
  • 1⁄2 ripe avocado
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp organic raw honey
  • 1 tbsp hulled hemp seeds
  • Fleur de sel for garnish (optional)

Combine the ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth. Garnish with a pinch of fleur de sel.

Serves: 2
Per serving: 253 calories; 14 g total fat; 0 mg cholesterol; 31 g carbohydrates; 6 g fibre; 4 g protein; 12 mg sodium.
