I bought a flat of night scented stocks and they have such a sweet strong scent the whole house is immersed in the smell...aaaaaahhhhhhhh   I am keeping them in the front hall overnight as it is still getting really cold here at night.

I always have night scented stock in my garden...what a heavenly fragrance! My plants self-seed every year, so I no longer need to buy the started ones...

I love scented flowers and shrubs. I bought a variagated rose daphne which I planted three years ago. It is just going into bloom now, and when it is in full bloom it is wonderful! I planted it right by my front door. I also have a Korean lilac standard near it, and some lavender further down near the roses.
In the backyard, I have an old fashioned lilac. The scent of all of them is indescribable when they are in bloom.... sigh

Seems to me I had a viburnum but I thought I bought it in the summer, and it had no scent...I 'll have to investigate the Koren spice viburnum. What is the scent like?

Do most of you usually buy ones that have already been started?

I usually just throw the seed into my planters and they come up between the other plants in a month or so and throw out their wonderful scent.
