Does anyone have "September Ruby" apple?

Postby DonnaZn2SK » May 15, 2008 9:22 pm

I bought this to replace the apple tree that was dug up last year. Was this one a good choice? It was the only "September Ruby" at the plant center, so it has a bit of a "Charlie Brown" look right now, hopefully it will live...

BTW, the apple we dug out was a Harcourt, which had fire blight. It was a nice looking tree, but the apple didn't have much flavor and the fruit was prone to getting scalded in the heat of summer...no loss really.
