SPREADING PETUNIA
HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SPREADING PETUNIA?THEY ARE VERY TALL AND i,M WONDERING IF i SHOULD CUT THEM BACK,i HAVEN,T SEEN THIS VARIETY BEFOR, THEY ARE CALLEDTIDAL WAVE SPREADING PETUNIA

I agree, you don't need to cut them back. I've seen them grown in containers, and they trail over the side.

i MAY BE WRONG BUT i DON,T THINK THIS WAVE IS SUPPOSED TO TRAIL ,IT SAYS IT IS UPRIGHT AND FORMS A MOUND

Don't cut it back; it is intended to grow very large and tall:
"Tidal Wave forms a dense, mounded hedge, 16 to 22 in./40 to 55 cm tall. Grown in a restricted space with support, they will grow an extra 2 to 3 ft./60 to 90 cm upward, like a vine. The stiff stems help to maintain the habit through the season."
"Plants first grow outward, then up, and finally in both directions to make an outstanding, shrublike shape that continues to hold its form all season."
