feeding roses
I usually feed my roses three times a season....May , June and July . With the excessive dry /hot spell should I go ahead with the July ?...they are a doing quite well so far but I don't want to encourage additional growth if they are unable to sustain it without a lot of additional watering . I have climbing , shrub and hybrid T.

Re: feeding roses
I'd skip the July feeding to be on the safe side.....you don't need excessive growth too late in the late summer/early fall....you want them to harden off early for the winter months
