Purple Fountain Grass - overwinter zone 6
Will Purple Fountain Grass overwinter in Zone 6 ? I have overwintered Dracena spikes in my workshop (unheated). Should I cut it back ? Leave it in a pot ?
Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration.

You might not have as much luck with the Grass.....you could try it in the house, but not sure how well it will do. it may go into dormancy, just cut it back, and keep it watered. you may see new growth.
i don't think the unheated garage would be warm enough. it is rated zone 9 and higher....

Thanks Kelly! I love Purple Fountain Grass so much! I may have to bring it into the basement - if I can keep my cat from trying to eat it!! LOL
