cymbidium reblooming
hi,
I bought a cymbidium from walmart two years ago, it grows very well, however, it has no sign it will bloom this spring, I put it outside until temperature just below zero, the leaves lokk very health, with a littlw bit yellowish.
Anyone can tell me how to make it rebloom?
thanks
peter

Re: cymbidium reblooming
cut back on the watering (but do not let dry out completely), and give cooler temps for about a month (do not feed at this point). When spikes form, increase watering and in about a month, they will be in full bloom. When they are done blooming, start to feed throughout the summer months until late August.
The ones here are all in full bud. As with Phal's, their blooming period starts in early winter (most times)
Good Luck
