someone told me to pick off the cuke leaves
not all of them but some of them to let the sun on them as to grow faster
is this right??
I never heard this before until last week
The leaves on mine are big and they do cover the cukes

As far as I've ever noticed they grow OK under all those leaves.
Will see what google says.
Thanks
I should pick off some
tom leaves too then. This will help them grow quicker and ripen quicker?
this I will do. now I am puzzled about the cukes. One of my neighbours told me to do this.
I never heard this before
I have 4 plants and 16 cukes so far and still lots of blooms
Not bad huh

I've never heard of picking the cuke leaves .... I'd leave as is. My three plants are struggling ..... really struggling. The floods got to the seeds along with those squirrels .... same as the bird gourds .... caput.
