I was too hasty
I lifted a potaoe plant
There were some but very small yet. The size of marbles.
I am surprised there are any at all when I planted them so late, July 1st weekend.
Not many blossums tho
Do the blossums mean lots of Potatoes ??
I never saw bees on what is there.
Do the bees need to pollunate them to have poatoes?
I am learning little by little lol,lol

Re: I was too hasty
As far as I know, the blossoms do not need to be polinated in order to produce the tubers , and I don't think there are any connection between number of blossoms to number of potatoes.
According to second hand info, my sister once grew yukon gold potatoes and never got any blossoms, so she never checked then for potatoes until she dug up the garden in early october, she ended up with some HUGE potatoes as a result
