Cucumber problem
Every year I grow cucumbers and same thing happens. After few pickings of which ever variety the leaves start curling and dry up. This year I have "Marketmore" and "Pickling" and same thing is happening.
Does anyone know why and how do I prevent this next year.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Cucumber problem
HI MIllie
Are your plants getting lots of water?? Cukes like water.
I would say if you have picked a lot from that plant already. The plant is through producing. The drying up is the signal it's time for producing is over
I am just guessing but I would think that would make sense
I've had it happen as well especially then the weather gets cooler in the Fall

Re: Cucumber problem
Hi BF,
Yes they do, and when I was away there was plenty of rain.
When I came back the leaves already started to dry up.
Wonder if there could be another reason?
Thanks.
