Reducing vegetation for composting.

People think I'm a bit nuts about my compost pile . . i usually chop up all kitchen waste a bit before I put it in the pile, and pretty much every time I give Mix it up a bit with a pitchfork , I generally chop up anything I deem to big then.
I've never used a roto tiller, but I don't have a pile anywhere near the size as you do durgan, as my garden is much much smaller
