Re: Salad/Lettuce table
I grow all our lettuce, spinach, mesclun mix and swiss chard in containers. Using containers raised up off the ground means no slugs or snails to pick out. The containers are sitting on a long bench.
All the containers are on the east side of the house so they receive only morning sun until noon, then they are in deep shade.
What I have notice is the lettuce does not wilt or bolt in the hot summer sun. We only pick off the outer leaves every day and each container will last us well into August.

My friend picked up few leaf . Some mescaline mix, spinach, and some other leafs.
I'll have to look into this and check out the germination and growth rates, and make sure they can all be cut multi-times.
