Thx Dumbo. I bit the bullet today, and gave away my surplus seedlings to my neighbor. They were pleased. And my remaining 'single-occupancy' seedlings will now have room to grow as needed. Best all around I think.

I'd put the cayenne in the spot that has no fence if there was no other choice. They don't seem to like the spicy peppers much. Try adding compost to enrich the soil, and be sure to use rain water to water.
