Skim boarding

Skim boarding
My Grandson learned to skim board a couple of years ago at long point... from a "Beach Bum"..
He brought his board to the cottage ( opps... Camp....) and here is his pic... yes I tried it and landed on several different body parts before giving up...lol...

That is ok as long as you landed on your own body parts and didn't get hurt. lol,lol
I tried water sking one time when I was about 16 and no one told me a ramp was ahead. Dirty trick played on me
I went over and smahed the water pretty bad and broke my colar bone and ya can still tell is had been broken at one time
Darn near drown too as I knocked myself out and didnt come up out of the water by myself
I next remember waking up in the ambulance
Never tried that again or trusted
Great that kids can learn these things so young . They have no fear
