Don't like the board layout.
When you enter the topic list of a forum (say, the main gardening one), all the topics are spaced too far apart. As it is now, I can only see about 3-4 topics on the page at once, impossible to just scan and look at all the topics that are going on right now. I think they are so spaced because of the "topic preview" text shown on the list. Whats the point of this? Why do I need to see the first 5 words of a topic when I can see the thread's topic and base my decision off that.
I hate to grumble, but if the site stays as it is right now I won't be returning. The same can probably said for a dozen or so regular members I spoke with over the weekend.

That's a shame
I said the same thing on Fri. but I can see tiny bits of improvements here and there
I do agree, this should not have been launched before the bugs were ironed out
I hate being used as a ginny pig
BUT
The forum is coming along. This is a holiday weekend
WE can't expect the web masters to work their holiday too
The forum was launced just as a holiday weekend came along. Bad timing.
But I am sure by the end of the week, we will see big things
So hang in there
Cheers BF
