Avatar upload

So when I go to User Control Panel/profile/edit avatar, my avatar uploads onto my profile, but it doesn't show in my posts. Also, don't we have the pleasure of not having to resize everything, or is this a change as well? This is so frustrating, and I am totally ticked off. On top of that pictures are lousy and half the size. The forum in general is not at all user friendly. I find it all very frustrating. Now why did the powers that be, just close the site until everything was up and running!! Just my freakin' 2 cents! I may linger back once and a while to see if there is any improvement. Lindamct signing off for a short while.
