pop-up window when hovering above post titles
I have a much needed suggestion for tech support.
Is it not possible to add the feature where instead of having to open each and every post to read what it is about..the feature that other forum software have, is as you hover the mouse over the post title, a little window appears under it, and the first few lines are displayed, so you get the gist of the post, without having to open it, and then open it to read further if it interests the reader.
Is this possible? I don't always have hours to go through each post, and could zip through much quicker with this shortcut.
A reply from tech would be much appreciated.

Re: pop-up window when hovering above post titles
The one that was in place when this forum first came on-line was a feature on the front page but it took up a lot of space. I don't think that is what CC is referring to. Just a pop up window that would be there if you hovered over the title of the post.

Even if this particular forum software doesn't support this option, there's an addon for Firefox, older versions of Safari, and I believe, Internet Exploder.
It's called CoolIris Previews, and it works for ANY clickable link. Just hover the mouse, and you'll see a little box appear at the end of the link. Hover the mouse over that, and a new window will open, allowing you to actually read the post without having to actually open the post.
It also works for Photobucket links, which is a lifesaver!

I don't know how I ever managed without this extension/addon!

The idea from Cooliris is a great one, but they say they do not support IE7, which seems odd, since this version is not that new.
I would try it with Flock, but it is not my browser of choice.

Re: pop-up window when hovering above post titles
Would be nice if IE 7 were included. This forum seems somewhat primitive at times.

Should have said that the format of these forums seems primitive.

I tried to download the cooliris. What do I do after it has gone through, and is now sitting on my desktop? I have a Mac.
