yep the golden splendor uploaded no problems but when I tried to change it to 'pink perfection' it said it was there and it wasn't ...will try again

well apparently it didn't work and is very, very strange. I still see the golden splendor at this end....any suggestions???

Is your jpg in lower case letters?
If there is anything in the description box other than the sentence "share a little bit about yourself...." clear it out.

You can also try cropping your jpg just slightly and see if that helps.

liars!!! it didn't work! what am I doing wrong??? same format, same file location, same jpeg ending as golden splendor and it won't work!!!! dagnabbit...don't like that black box..will put golden splendor back til somebody can tell me what the 'he double hockey sticks'(thanksK) is going on
back in to edit.....
ok I'm getting a tad bit ticked with this dang thing..now it won't give me back my splendor!!!

and voila there it is but will not load the new pic. try again and leave it..if it comes out the ugly black box I will not scream(very loud ) I will just shut off this puter and go......................mist the orchids (poor things are gonna be dead from overmisting)

Smitty, I see the yellow lilies. Is that the one you were trying to load?
I had a similar experience to you. It kept saying I had successfully loaded my avatar, but there was nothing there.
I finally had success by using a very circuitous route.
