You're right...it won't..
Okay...You've used Paint Shop for your pics...If you don't have a My Pictures folder, Browse (through Edit my profile) and find it in paint shop. click open, then save.
It may take a few minutes before the pic actually shows up...lets see what that does...
Don't Worry...we'll get you going (love the MG's BTW)

Re: Uploading an Avatar
I have never used paintshop. I have a my pictures folder that I upload from. Sometimes Photobucket. I am having no luck here. Yes Morning Glories are pretty aren't they....
I got to be doing some simple little thing wrong. I had no problems way back when.

Okay.
go to Edit my Profile.
At Upload New Image, click on Browse.
in your files, go to My pictures and find the Summer 2008 012.jpg file. click Open, and it will automatically go into the Upload New Image space. Go down to the bottom of the page and press save....If it works, in red above the Upload space it should say Image Uplaoded! and Profile Updated!
then wait a bit before you can see if it worked (that part kinda sucks.)

Re: Uploading an Avatar
Here is your file as a .jpg....
save it to your computer and then try uploading it. It should work now. If it doesn't send me a PM.
