Re: Two windows or tabs
Northpine wrote:William, for me both your examples only opened one tab each. But by contrast in Plant Talk, in the thread called 'Is there a plant called silver bells', Eeyore includes a link in her reply which when I clicked on opened two tabs. Does that help?
It's the site that Eeyore linked to - it opens another window for some reason, that is exactly the same as the first. If there is another example (ie. different site/link), please let me know so that I can verify that things are working as they should be here. They appear to be, however...

Ok, I was just reading the thread called April 1- C worm, and clicked on the link provided for snopes and again it opened in 2 identical tabs.

I just clicked on that one, and only got one window.

Although....I just noticed, as lyn had, that my pop-up blocker "popped" up at the top of my page.....hmmmm maybe not your computer!

Whatever it is, it seems quite consistent. I just clicked on Joan's Cool Exotics link in the 'Afraid to Sow' thread and up popped 2 identical tabs again.

Re: Two windows or tabs
sorry been away for a bit. Northpine, You & I seem to have the same problem!
William, both your links only opened one window for me just like Northpine yet all others open two. For example in Plant talk, Kangaroo Apple topic the link opens two identical windows. All Durgan's open two windows (although right now a 404 error on his end I think).
Interesting. But for now I just keep closing them.

Ok, I see what the issue is... not entirely sure how to fix it at the moment, however, I know where to start looking. Hope to have it fixed by the end of the week - no further feedback required.
Thanks for the help,
