re not receiving email responses

Hi,

The check mark is ticked in the box on Notify me when a reply is posted but I still have not received any responses.

Had no problems last year.

Any suggestions as how to correct this?

Hi Millie...I'm not sure why it is not working from this page...what you can do is go to the User Control Panel, and from there you can modify all of your settings, including receiving email noty's.

I just checked and the dot is in the right circle so maybe I should just delete and start over but then may mess up something else.

Just to let you know...I checked the email noty box at the bottom of the post a reply page and I did get it.....

Thanks Kelly, mine is checked too but I don't get any responses, will try to change the email address to a different one.

That did the trick Kelly. I bought a new computer and am using a yahoo email, haven't received any emails on my cogeco as it's not set yet, I guess thats why no emails.

Yup, that's because I get them all... Well, I get the errors at least. We are currently working out an issue between our mail servers and the mail servers at hotmail.com, shaw.ca, gmail.com, etc... There are significant delays imposed by some of these email providers and if the delay is too long the email never gets delivered. We are working to get these delays removed so that the emails from the forums are delivered immediately.

We do have people working on it, however, I have no timeline at this point as to when everything will be resolved. Hopefully sooner because it's been plaguing me longer than you've known about it..
