Clicking Links opens 2!! new tabs

I've got both Firefox and Safari set to open any links in a new tab, NOT a new Window.

i've noticed that any links clicked in posts on this forum open 2 new tabs, not just one. This has been happening for the better part of a week.

Not a flippin' clue, which is why I posted this.

I don't know if it's a product of forcing a new tab vs a new window, but surely we aren't the only ones who prefer tabbed browsing?

Same thing for me. It's been happening for weeks now. I've learned to go with the flow and delete everything twice.

This issue should now be resolved for all new posts. Unfortunately, the changes made will NOT affect older posts.
