Still not loading properly with the add-ons enabled. Must be something else.

Re: 3 Things
I disable all ad ones as you told me. I restarted firefox, and no changes have occurred,so I have enabled the add ons. Interesting how everything loads fine in Explorer.

Re: 3 Things
Interesting. Here I am using Explorer and all is the way it should be. Not sure why all of the sudden the past 2 weeks Firefox doesn't show Avatars and doesn't let me access font colors or smleys on the Garden Forum.
I have done nothing different when using Firefox.

Re: 3 Things
You might also have a corrupt profile in Firefox.
Try starting Firefox in Safe Mode (all programs>Firefox>Safe Mode). Create a new profile and see if that helps.
Before doing anything though, back up your bookmarks! Firefox>Bookmarks>organize bookmarks. Then from that page, select Import and Backup. Do this just in case you have to start all over again with a new profile, so that you can then import your existing bookmarks to the "starting over" version of Firefox.

Re: 3 Things
Well I did what you said re bookmarks and I have lost them. I am going to take a break from this while I holiday in PEI for a few days. So frustrating. I may just take this tower in and have it wiped clean when I get back. Such a pain. Thanks for your consideration Lyn, Caroline, and William.

Re: 3 Things
Computers can be VERY frustrating. There are just so many combinations and permutations of things that can go wrong and not co-operate with each other. I hope you get it sorted out when you get back Linda. Enjoy PEI!

Re: 3 Things
Caroline you sure are a book of knowledge when it comes to troubleshooting! I followed the steps in the link to create a new profile....and Voila.....everything is back to normal. I see all Avatars, smileys, etc! Thanks so much! Now I can go away on Monday knowing that dh will be able to continue his ELearning.
