I understand the need for advertising but here it is every 10 seconds. Enough to change forums. Jazz

That is beyond annoying. I just gave up even trying to read or look at anything on any of the forums.

Re: Do we really need the green challenge contest popping up
I had a few minutes this morning to check up on things and this green advert is really ticking me off.
Can't someone push it to the side and for those who want to check it out can do so, but those of us who don't, or not now, don't have to deal with it obscuring the screen every few seconds!

I even went onto the Mac and it was on Safari
Smitty and skwij have the fastest solution load or open firefox (it is available at http://www.firefox.com)
On the Tools banner select add-ons and download "noscript". You can remove it later when CG gets up to speed.
Sorry guys, I love your product and do frequent your advertisers. When a pop-up is so annoying you just block it, what good is it to you?

WonderBra...and "I got a cheque for $11, 668 from the government"
Dang, where's my cheque?
No greenies coming here...hmmm...I feel left out.

I run firefox & that damn add overwrote the page so I used add block to get rid of it. If any advertiser thinks using this technique is going to work in their favour they should be fired.
