Query: adding a pithy quote to my postings

The "quote" button is in the top right hand corner, of the post you wish to quote; when you click it, you get a brand new post box, with the quote already in it!.

JAYZUS...this is fifth attempt to get to here to respond...it is worse than is my PM area.

Lulu, I guess I did not 'splain properly. I do know how to quote someone else's post within my own, should I want to. (but TA!)

I do not know how to add, beneath my signature in my profile area, a darling quotation I want to have appear at the bottom of all of my own postings every time I post something.

I believe BBQ has a quotation under hers, and so does Aigle.

I used to have one, as well, but, when the forum format changed, it diskappeared, and I can no longer get it on there,,,

MareE has hers there too, you know the one,,"Do not make tragedies out of trifles,,do not shoot butterflies with Rifles,,,,Author Unknown".

Hope someone on here and 'splain it,,for US.

I have google'd it, MareE,,,no results; lots of entries, lots of theories,,,but all concur and concede to it, as being "author unknown".
