Hi guys, after trying a few times I can attach only one picture then the option is gone, so I'll do them one at a time.

Oh my gosh, my list is also growing! Some of these Ds are gorgeous.
Donna: Your Delphs are breathtaking, as is the Dodocatheon, (this is now on my list).
Sharon: I really should try Daphne again. I grew one successfully for about 4 years, then it died. I replaced it but it only survived 1 year. Didn't bother after that.

Like others, I have far too many Ds, so how does one choose! Here goes:

I hope this works...no-name Dahlias, and my darling Datura.

LOVED the Devil's Hand...and long for the beautiful Delphiniums in such abundance...I have a paltry few and none as vivid as these.

Sharon,
Is there a common name for Dracocephalum?

Hi Donna:
It literally means Dragon's Head. I suspect it might not have the hardiness for your area, but that doesn't always stop one does it?
Cheers

That's interesting, Sharon. I haven't seen it for sale around these parts, either by seed or started plants. I will have to look into it.

Brenda,
The dodocatheon completely dies down after it's done blooming, so that might be a consideration where you put it. It was quite small when I bought it, but has proven to be a great plant for a shady, moist location. I didn't pay a lot of money for it...in the small, general perennials at Canadian Tire, I think.
