a few more ingredients for the soup
came looking for the 'H's........guess folks are busy with family this lovely groundhog day..so I'll just add a few miscellaneous ingredients...
maybe someone could tell me what type of clematis this is...bought many years ago when I first started the gardens and didn't really care about names and tossed the tag

and a white delphinium given to me by a gardening friend who didn't know it's name either

and a yellow asiatic lily I brought home from my mom's garden when she passed

I can't name your plants but I could call them all Rose....They are beautiful, even without names.

thanks Lyn. my gardens are getting quite full finally after 12 years of work. now I'm trying to complete the audit of what's out there.

Or meander the path up the middle and get rid of all the lawn....

Lots of room there for a path and more garden space. You only have to mow the grass.

Lovely additions to the soup, Smitty...and I can certainly relate to the days when all tags were stripped off and tossed!
Afraid I don't have a suggestion for the grassy area...I do like the lawn there. Folks can stroll, worship...turn and get different perspectives...however, I do understand the need for more planting room, believe me!

thanks for the views all. have a few more months to convince hubby that a new bed or enlarging the old needs doing there..he's partial to the grass...probably cause he never has to mow it!
