Now I am pretty sure I had that Heliopsis on my want list last year!!!

Note to self....remember list when visiting the nurseries!

OMG !!!!! just look at alll those lilies!!! sorry I couldn't pick just one...I want them all!!!
thanks for id'ing Landini for me..that one I have and Miss Lucy...she's been growing in my garden 5 years now Eeyore...I could share :) now what pics tp post.....hmmmmmm......don't know how you ladies collage those pics( :idea: maybe somebody could walk me thru it in another thread :idea: ) and I have sooooooooooo many lilies(well never too many) that I'm not sure where to start showing them off :) so....let's go this way for now

Is your Lavatera in a planter Blossom? I tried growing it in a planter and it did not do well for me.

Yes, and my book says zone 2.
What I love about it is the foliage. I like to use use colours and textures of foliage as much as blooms in my gardem as most foliage lasts all season where as there are a number of blooms that just don't last more than a few weeks.

If we're talking about 'Lorraine Sunshine', yes it is very hardy. It grows well for me also.

Hi Lyn - No - Lavatera is planted there right in the ground. Some of the plants grew to almost 5' last summer.
Betty -I really like the foliage on the Heliopsis too. I am going to have to make more gardens after looking at the soup this year.
