Re: ALPHABET SOUP ~~ M
Hey, I am first for a change so here are my M's.
meadow-rue is the common name. I added on the photo which thalictrum they are, Hope I got them right as they are one of my very favourite flowers.
milkweed is the common name. The asclepias incarnata is also known as swamp milkweed and the asclepias tuberosa as butterfly weed.
monarda I planted a pkg of seed a few years ago so have quite a few shades here & there throughout the garden. I couldn't squeeze them all in but since Valentine Day, decided I could fit the red in if shaped as a heart. Just click to enlarge any of the photos.

Oh my gosh, I have no Ms. So I'm going to show a picture of the Moat and baffle that I set up to help keep the squirrels from eating my lillies. From what I can find on the web squirrels don't like to go in the water so I put a planter box filled with water on the end of the wall (which was very convenient for those little rascals) and rigged up a barrier. It worked.

Mockorange. This one is not very old, and not yet as tall as it will be. But don't I wish I lived where you could grow magnolias!
