Unknown Peonies from grandmothers are the best....IMHO....I have one myself, only it had no blooms on it last year....

Thanks Lyn and Kelly for the comments. Yes this particular plant does produce quite a few blooms every year. However the first couple of years I would get only one or two blooms for the season. She's a real gem now though.

Neng - portulaca is an annual. It self seeds nicely and it does well in hot dry areas.

Greg your pond is wonderful. Someday when there isnt any more grandbabies getting added to the family to toddle about my garden I will have a a large lovely pond like yours...savona
