ALPHABET SOUP ~~ Q
Hmm, I wonder how many Q's we can come up with for the soup? I'm looking forward to the offerings!

I don't think we will be overun with samples of Q.
Quercus rubrum(Red Oak), certainly a favourite tree.

The Red Oak is a beautiful tree. We have some in this vicinity and they are just gorgeous in the fall.

Never thought to take pictures of neighbour's Quince, so my only offering for the "Q" section is a Queue...they lined up nicely in hopes of getting a treat...and hopes WERE rewarded, of course!

Re: ALPHABET SOUP ~~ Q
You are right! These are very easy to grow, but require a lot of maintenance on the part of the home gardener (and a prof. groomer!) They must be fed regularly, and well-watered. Soil must be kept clean of "debris." They do NOT attract slugs or any other pests (Advantage is a great aid with other pests.) Colour is constant and reliable.
