Thanks for all the lilly pic
I love them
I really need to get the black dragon and red velevel, boogy woogy. oh yes there was one more
Now I forget the name but it was Lyn's with deep color in the centre
Did it have fire in the name?Aren't lillies just the best for show, color and multiplying

Wow, this thread has grown long. When I first tried it there were hardly any pictures, unless I was doing something wrong. All these lovelies make my few look paltry. I do like the Easter Lily, but don't know if it counts.

It better count, Joan...I buy the poor unloved Easter lilies left over after Easter, enjoy the odd bloom indoors, and plant outside when good weather comes...so I have several that survived living in hot stores, neglected in every way. They bloom very late in the autumn and are always a welcome surprise to me.
Gwen, thank you...contractile...and of course, because of seeds in the wild! So good to get an answer!
Here's one of my lilies..I don't know why I bought these, I did not like them one bit. I planted deep red with them, it made it worse...orange made me avert my eyes. Then I found a pink that somehow tied them ALL together, and now the originals are quite acceptable!

Me too Liz!
Suncrest multiplies like crazy Butterfly. All you would need is one good sized bulb and in a few years you'd have a field of them! I gave away tons of baby bulbs last fall when I had to move them. I kept the 10 biggest bulbs and gave away the rest. so I won't have any to share this fall I don't think but if I do I'll keep you in mind.

The group...went thru all my pics for three years, and I did not save a single one of the group...first couple of years I really disliked that one lily so much that until the others bloomed, no pics got taken.
I will try to do better this year...c.u. next year in the Soup!...
