I don't have any "U" or "V" but I do have ................
Unknown weed, comes up all the time and the Hummers love it so it is plentiful.

Is your unknown weed fragrant? Could it be soapwort? comes in lavender or white also.Then again I'm not sure!!

It is an annual, spreads like crazy, almost as bad as forget me nots. The first photo shows a healthy plant in a prime location. I have lots that are just tiny like your little finger one flower on them. BUT the hummers love them. Just showed up about 4 years ago.

your weed is beautiful Libby..it looks like it could be related to Maltese cross?? same stem and leaf formation

Remi, never tried from seeds as they spread quite vigorous from roots. Remind me in the spring and you are quite welcome to have some. They like moist shady areas so should do fine in a boggy spot. Plant is poisonous (like many others) and will fill in an area fairly quickly. I weed a few out each year so I do not get overrun.
