Jumping the gun here, but I am feeling the need...
Garden Vistas..
I long so much for summer. This is one of my favourite views of my garden.....my property is small, city lot size..despite this, I have got about 200 species/varieties here. OurBetty will remember when I began, with my need to have space between plantings......
the 200 isn't shown here, it's in sides beside the house, along the very old garage or at the front of the house....but this is where I spend my time - this place is my heart's delight.
I grow up walls, fences, over porches, on roofs, in pots...I hope you hear my heart beating..I love gardening so very much.
Please come and sit awhile...do not talk to me...just sit...and enjoy the birds and butterfies...beware the one toothed scaredy-cat, and be kind to the three small pups. help yoursef to refreshments, the lady of the house is NOT at home.
But, I can promise you, you will always find hearts-ease here.

<Squealing with delight >!
thank you for sharing your oasis with us. It looks so cozy and refreshing. And offering to let us use it when you're not at home!....how utterly generous of you.
I will make one of these in my yard this summer. You've inspired me.

Oh Liz that is shear delight to a cold Manitobanite (is that a word?) chawing at the bit awaiting spring on the prairies. promise not to disturb anyone as I sit with feet up enjoying the serenity. with cuppa in one hand and other hand divided between sharing cookies and petting the kids
...now that is THE life.
thank you so much for sharing

Looks very inviting but would make it perfect for me is a hammock in there somewhere. Gotta have my hammock time.
Not long now.

Liz,believe it or not, here is a poem I wrote many years ago.
Title....Come sit in my garden
Come sit in my garden & you will see
All that the Lord hath given thee
Flowers,each with a face all it's own
From one tiny seed were grown
Ants toil,beetles scurry
Neither needs to rush or hurry
Sit in my garden as days begun
Feel the warmth of the summers sun
Soon life's cares fast have flown
Leaving a peace you've never known
Come sit in my garden.
