Doing the soup backwards could be interesting....
I like that crazy yellow and red lily.... got any to spare?

And what exactly IS Xerophyllum? Is it a grass?

That crazy yellow and red lily is a tulip. Xeophyllum is not a true grass, although it looks like one. its related to sedges and rushes and Eleocharis. Its huge, its any where up to 5 feet tall and taller. Although I have seen it much smaller. Its really magnificent, but I dont think it would survive the warm winters here. It really needs to be in cold winters its in the subalpine here. I think it could be grown in zones 1, 2 and 3.
