view from our deck today
I love shooting the pond when it's dark and the snows are so white, trying to include the arbour, and whatever wildlife may be standing at the water's edge. Got this one this morning.

in case you're curious, the wooden structure is a year-round support for our summer spring porch, which we install in May.

ok, will take some pics when we erect it May 1st. The reason we take it off is cuz it has a canvas roof (which rolls up and stores under the eaves), and we need the sun in.
This house faces south, so we get a great passive solar effect from huge windows and 3 skylights......only needing 3 cords of firewood each year = $450 heating bill per year.
