your azalea made it thru another Manitoba winter and it has buds!!!! lots of buds!!
I've been hesitant to clear the leaves off this bed but I think it may be time!

Hi Smitty:
That is a little Rhododendron mucronulatum.....a semi-deciduous type.
Ours are just showing colour the last day or two. Nothing too exciting thus far.
Congrats on keeping this little guy alive!

That's what I thought too, I have 3 of them that I started from your seeds. No buds yet though.

thanks Sharon. he is the sole survivor of the ones you sent me , oh gotta be 5-6 years now. he's not real big but he is a tough little guy. and thanks for giving him back his name
