Nice pics Joan.
I had quite a lot of Silver Dollar, (Honesty), at my last house. I found it pretty, but it eventually parked itself in places I didn't want it, so it became a nuisance.

Beautiful Joan, both part 1 & 2. I do love the looks of the trees but my very favourite spring view is a newly ploughed field. Must be the farmer in me.

I started some silver dollar this year, not blooming yet but I see I have a very pretty plant to look forward too.

Betty you'll get lots of leaves on your Silver Dollar plants this year. They are bi-annual, and will flower next year for you :D

Yes Linda, I do know that they are biennials and usually do not bloom till the second year.

From experience, I also know that some biennals if started early enough inside ie hollyhocks, foxgloves, and sweet william to name a few, will produce flowers the same year, although later in the summer than if they were second year plants.

As I said, I do not have blooms yet, but I also have not completely ruled out blooms this year since I did start them in Feburary.

BBQ, yes it can be invasive. I try to collect as many seeds as I can, otherwise I just rip it out.
Lyn, isn’t that frog the cutest thing!
Betty, I hope you do get blooms but I doubt it. They still make a nice looking plant and you have the blooms to look forward to early next spring.

Got the froggy at Tara. He was damaged where a stick was inserted into him so I fixed him up and humg him up.
