Plant Identity Please

Could anyone identify this plant. It look somewhat like it's related to bamboo.

Hi Wayne...does it have any leaves??? How big around is the stalk?? It actually, from the pic, looks similar to asparagus.

Thanks. I was actually able to find out by googling it and searching. It's a Horsetail Scouring Rush.

Okay...good....Did you know they are many many many years old!!

and very difficult to get rid of (if that is what you wish to do!) Very long root...much like a tap root...spreads by root and spores.
