Found a few more Ls for the soup.
I think this heliopsis is aptly named. It really is a spot of sunshine.
This poor little lychnis has been abused by me. I kept planting it in stupid places but it persisted. Here it is under a bunch of foliage and couldn't even be seen. They say they are short lived, but I hope it lives at least another year so I can give it a spot it deserves.
If anyone would like to identify this lily, I'd appreciate it. It has very shiny petals.

Northpine, I agree Lorraine Sunshine is a spot of sunshine!!
Is that Lychnis arkwrightii ? It does seem to petter out after a couple years . I like to keep seed so I can keep it going. it makes a very nice bright spot in the garden.

Thanks Clara for telling me what it is. I will have to try to save seed this year. I'm surprised it's lived as long as it has with the way I've mistreated it.
