HELP Id Prunus... What kind?

Hello people,

Wondering if you guys may help me ID these little trees I'm growing... At first I was thinking it was Prunus Serotina. But now, more and more, I'm looking more towards Prunus Virginia.

What do you guys think?

If you ahdn't said prunus i would have thought malus..... After looking online I would say you might be correct but I'd hesitate to make an ID until the plants are somewhat older.

Thanks for the input! Much appreciated... I'm 100% sure about prunus has I have planted the seeds...

I suppose you are right, at this stage they do look like Malus
