Re: ALPHABET SOUP.... O!
The name is Bird Dancer and it is dear little thing. Kept the orginal plant plus slipped it so will have more this summer. Rec'd a slip last year from someone that had brought back a slip from England with her so no idea how available it is around here.Northpine wrote: Can you tell me the name of the geranium?

Some real beauties in the Os...well done, you guys!
Love Kat's garden gate...and Eeyore's Royal Wedding poppies best of all.
as for me, my OLD old Rhododendron (noid) and the ONLY sunflowers I managed to grow, in a window box!

I have not done my duty here, commenting on the lovely Os.... all of them gorgeous. Thanks so much everyone for posting them. I found myself in the garden centre in the Okanagan, recently, and instead of buying the witchhazel i have always wanted found myself in the lily bulb section trying to find LETTERS I DONT HAVE.... bwaaa ha haaaa!
Does anyone else find that the soup has influenced your purchases for the garden??? I need more Ns and of course, the end of the alphabet is a bit thin....

O but for sure, SOUP has always made me go crackers for new garden stock, excellent Host Kat. I "steal" photos (attaching name of fleur/shrub/veg and Souper, natch) and have a sizable portfolio for the elusive "some day". snufflesniff Then I will have dedicated CG Soup Memories garden(s) of fleurs accompanying the mandatory kitchen/potage gardens ;o}
Here are dubious Ogelable(sp) ingredients afore finding my Ps and Qs:
Never knew the actual name of these late Summer charmers
so we dubbed them OLD-FASHIONED CLIMBERS.
At the time I thought the Farmers Market was over-pricing their OCTOBER SQUASHES. Temporary blurred vision is to blame. haha
Couldn't believe my horrified eyes last week when saw that our OLD NURSERY had been razed. Now I'll have to burn gas instead of flipflop rubber to pick up annuals this year. Bloody evil developers!!
