ROLLICKING ~R~ collections, everyone!
The rapture of growing veggies, squash and herbs up on garage ROOF will likely outlast the rotting joists beneath the tarpaper. laff
Alas Savona's RICHARD DAVID Dahlia has run his course after a 5-year run.
[I'd neglected to bring toobies indoors last Fall [snufflesniff]
Can never say enuff about the nutrition value, growability and versatility of Inge's RED RUSSIAN Kale. Oooops. In fact I may have used same photo twice. Retracted.
Editing in RAMBLING ROSE of no name. She's been growing on same old board fence for at least 40 years, rumour has it. ;o}

A rainy day in spring
May 2011:
A climbing rose (Blaze) I thought died a few years ago. Then suddenly this spring, it came alive...why, I don't know:

I need a bottomless bank account, a tireless body and an endless property for all the plants that get added to the list every time I check the soup!!
I have 2 "R"'s to add and again no daylilies. Something must be wrong with me
The Iris I found lying in the middle of the road. Some yahoo had ripped it out of a municipal flower bed. Looks great in my garden.
The "Rocks" that make up most of my flower beds came from the foundations of new houses being built on my street. My DH has moved 5 truck loads so far. Dump trucks

Clyde,
That is a beautifully coloured iris, and love the story that goes with it
