Nice spring pictures! I snipped some Forsythia branches and placed them in a vase on our dining table. Looks so nice and fresh. Love the garter snake too!

Hopefully spring is here to stay. No more frost or that dratted sn*w. Last night was really frosty but didn't seem to hurt the flowers that are in bloom. Sure wish we would get some rain.......lots of rain, please. It hasn't rained for weeks now so I have been watering the gardens.

The Lilacs are getting ready to pop open, Forsythia is blooming, the Frittilaria is almost in full bloom...twice the size from last year. After that hot wind storm a few days ago, the daffodils and hyaciths have withered away. Tulips should be open in another week or so.

But my favourite first spring flower is Aubretia. It gets bigger and bigger every year and blooms from late March right through until late September.

Oh.....and I forgot to post this picture I took of baby spiders that hatched today.
If you touch the web, they scatter all over the place.

Loving the photos of Spring, I too need rain. Here are a few of mine that I took today. Some have been in bloom for for awhile and some just opened today.

How did I miss this post?! Love everyone's blooms. What a treat.

Our usual spring progression of little bulbs is unfolding,
These crocus are scattering themselves all over.

Puschkinia are in bloom everywhere......

There are a few patches of species tulips just coloring up, so i must remember to take a pic today. Ditto for some early Corydalis.
The February Daphne have been in part to full bloom for quite some time.
