How gorgeous!
My one and only tree peony has lots of buds, (I think 12 at last count), about to burst forth; I can hardly wait. *smile*

make sure you post a pic when it opens.
The tree peony with double blooms has 17 blooms but oh my , they are drooping today from the hot sun!!
The other one has 27 buds and blooms and my 3rd one only has 10 buds. They were forced into bud in March during that hot weather we had then we had cold and lots of frosts , some buds look like they might not open. They have gone through a lot!!

Re: First Blooms on my Tree Peony
Hi Clara:
I most certainly will be taking pics of this fabulous plant.
After bringing it with me when we moved 6+ years ago it languished for 4 years without doing very much of anything. It didn't grow much and I wasn't sure it would ever bloom. Then the summer before last I had one bloom! Last year I had about five blooms. This year as I mentioned there are at least 11 or 12 buds, and the actual plant has increased x3 in size!
Mine gets full sun from about 10 in the am until around 3 in the pm, which I think it likes! *smile*

Heidi ,my tulips did not perform very well because they were forced too early then got cold and frosts. Some people said there tulips didn't bloom at all . Our tulips and Daffs are long past . Hope you can enjoy yours soon.

I just purchased a tree Peony with a bloom which looks a lot like the blooms on your Peony in the last pic. It will be several years before it looks anything like yours, but it sure is beautiful regardless.

Oh, Clara! That last pic is such a beauty!
I popped out later this afternoon to see what was going on. We had a fairly overcast am and sun this pm, so my peony didn't get much sun today.
It's coming along really well! *big smile*
